As a striking outbreak, the Second European Rural Youth Parliament issued a declaration summarizing 10 desirable actions to help address the key challenges facing rural youth. The document reflects current challenges and concrete steps that decision-makers and other young people need to take to make the countryside a better place to live. This is the result of several 2-year networking and opinion-gathering activities that reached their zenith by bringing together 70 young professionals from 16 countries.
