Year 2013 is very important for rural communities in Latvia. We are going to gather on 1st Latvian Rural Communities Parliament, that will take place in Preiļi on 6^th to 8^th June, in one of most remote and less developed regions of EU, but with spectacular nature and brightly hospitable people.

We warmly welcome you to share with us joy of coming together and being part of decision making process where rural communities in dialogue with politicians and policy makers will decide on future of rural community development, as well as we would appreciate your participation as highly valuable contribution to development of rural communities in Latvia as well as in Europe and worldwide.

Year 2013 is very important not only for rural communities in Latvia but for communities all over the EU, as we are facing new possibilities and challenges that will bring next planning period (2014-2020) and successful implementation of Community Lead Local Development approach is one of them.
